Our Story

Dynamis World Ministries was founded in Sweden in 1985 by Christopher and Britta Alam. The ministry headquarters was moved to the US in 1993, but offices/mission bases are still maintained in Sweden, Zimbabwe, and Asia.

Christopher Alam was born into a family in the Middle East. He received Christ in 1975 and started preaching the Gospel soon after. After enduring much persecution for the Gospel, which included a year in prison and time in a mental institution, Christopher Alam was threatened with execution and escaped to Sweden where he was granted political asylum. It was there that Christopher and Britta met and were married.

Christopher has preached the Gospel in over 75 nations and has seen over 1500 churches started as a fruit of his ministry in Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Dynamis World Ministries holds large open-air Gospel crusades with approximately one million people coming to Jesus every year. The ministry also holds Schools of Ministry and Leadership for pastors in Africa and Asia.

Dynamis World Ministries has offices and bases in the US, Sweden, Zimbabwe, and in Asia. It has full-time crusade teams at its bases in Zimbabwe and Asia. In addition to this, the ministry also runs an orphanage in Zimbabwe and church-planting Bible schools in Zimbabwe and Asia.

The ministry has a 1000-acre farm that it wants to develop for agriculture to provide for the orphanage and Bible school which operates on the farm.

Christopher Alam is also the General Overseer of AWAKE Churches, a fellowship of several hundred churches in Africa with its headquarters in Zimbabwe.

Christopher Alam is ordained by the Assemblies of God.

What The Lord Has Done

  • Preached the Gospel in over 75 nations, over 1500 churches started.

  • God Confirming His Word with signs following. Lame, blind, deaf-mutes healed. Creative miracles, the demon-possessed delivered.

  • Up to 30,000 Baptized with the Holy Ghost at one time in a service.

  • Church-planting Bible School in Africa, one more planned in Asia.

  • “School of Ministry” training programs for Pastors and Leaders.

  • Publishing faith-building books and books for New Believers in several languages.

  • Every year between 800,000 to a million people respond to the altar calls to receive Christ at our Gospel Crusades.

  • Three weeklong Pre-Crusade Intensive Bible Schools to train churches in evangelism and to disciple new believers.

  • Humanitarian aid to people in need. During the Covid-19 pandemic, our partners helped us to provide 3-months rations to over 1200 Pastors and their families around the world.

  • Orphanage in Africa.

  • Teaching Resources on YouTube. Bible School Courses provided free of charge.
