A HELP AID FOR YOUR EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL WELL-BEING

In these days of upheavals and uncertainty, many people are being affected in their mental and emotional well-being.

Firstly, understand that you are not alone. Many others are going through the same thing that you are going through.

So what do you do? Here are a few tips for you that will definitely help you overcome all this:

1. Spend time reading portions of Scripture and meditate on what they mean. That is when God will speak to you through His Word.

2. Pray in other tongues. It will build you up, ease your spirit and mind, and the peace of God shall come over you.

3. Talk to God every day about what is going on in your mind. You will be amazed at how God will actually intervene in your life and answer your prayers.

4. Speak the Word of God. Verbalize the Word of God with your mouth. Speak aloud what Christ has done for you and who you are in Christ. Doing this you will release God's power into your own life, and the light of God will dispel every dark shadow cast over your mind.

5. Fellowship with family and friends. Get back into Church! Isolating yourself is the worst thing that you can do.

6. Get involved in the lives of people who you can help. Thinking outside of yourself and helping others is a great thing for your own well-being.

7. Take walks, get out of the house, do things outside. Sunshine and fresh air will do you good physically, mentally and emotionally.

8. Read good literature. Have intelligent and stimulating conversations with friends and family. This will keep your mind and your imagination active.

9. Lastly, avoid cynical, negative, and constantly angry political commentators from both the Left and the Right. You DO NOT need them in your brain. Shun talk show hosts, conspiracy theorists and others who constantly pollute your mind with their political "facts". You can not afford to let these people use your mind as their slop bucket.

Instead, listen to anointed preachers and teachers of the Word of God who build up your Faith. There are plenty of these available on YouTube.
