THE PRACTICE OF PENTECOST
There are certain foundational truths on the practice of Pentecost that we should never compromise:
1. The total Lordship of Jesus Christ over the Christian and the Church.
2. Recognizing and not drawing back from the absolute infallibility of the teachings of the Bible, no matter what modern society says.
3. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the speaking in other tongues.
4. The practice of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the local church.
5. Living holy and separated lives.
6. An emphasis on prayer, both personal and corporate, in the local church.
7. The preaching of the Gospel to the lost, making disciples, and world missions.
8. Signs, wonders, and miracles to follow the preaching of the Gospel.
9. Developing personal faith through the study and meditation of the Word of God.
10. Helping widows, orphans, and others in need.
11. Always seeking to walk in love, because, "if I have not love, I am nothing."
